As the class sizes in the school district grow, so will the financial needs for Carlisle Area Dollars for Scholars. There are several ways to give financially.

  • General Fund - This is the most common way to contribute and all amounts are appreciated. All monies from fundraising activities are deposited into the general fund and used to fund scholarships on a yearly basis. You can either give checks personally to a board members, or send in donations to Carlisle Area Dollars for Scholars at P.O. Box 397 Carlisle, Iowa 50047-0397.
  • PEACH Club - By contributing at least $500 to the general fund over a two year period, you can be recognized as a member of the PEACH Club. PEACH Club donors are recognized on the PEACH tree located in the Carlisle High School Commons.
  • Endowment - Create an endowment to perpetuate the memory of a loved one or honor a business or family in a way which would provide a scholarship award each year to a Carlisle High School student. Donations totaling at least $3,500 over a two-year period qualify for an endowment. The funds will be invested by the Board and the only income will be used to fund scholarships each year bearing the name of the donor. Many families in our school district have used memorials to fund their loved ones' endowments. Endowment donors are listed next to the PEACH tree in the Carlisle High School Commons. If you have any questions about Carlisle Area Dollars for Scholars Endowments, please contact Endowment Chair, Marne Sievers at 515-681-1606.
  • Planned Giving - Gifts may be given during your lifetime or through your estate. Gifts of cash, stock, life insurance, and real estate are all welcomed and greatly appreciated. If you have any questions about other ways you can contribute, please contact a board member.
